Hi actually sometimes I am feeling breathing problem.. is it normal in pregnancy
Hi Deepika, during pregnancy your body undergoes may changes. It is preparing for a child growth and delivery. Your body is releasing progesterone hormone which makes you breathe deep and prepare your lungs to inhale large amount of oxygen. Breathing may become difficult as your uterus is growing and taking more space in belly putting additional pressure on your diaphragm a muscle below lungs.
Take following precautions;
• Lift your arms up which will lift your rib cage, take off some pressure and allow you to breathe easily.
• Don’t walk or exercise extensively. Be moderate.
• While sleeping keep a pillow underneath your upper body.
• Keep your head elevated.
• Try yoga and pranayama.
Please refer to the doctor if breathing difficulty is sever and painful. Good luck!!
