Hi Akansha, applying sunscreen on infants from 0 to 6 months is not advisable. Infants should be kept away from sun as much as possible. Infants have higher surface -area to body –weight ratio, making exposure to the chemicals in sunscreen to much greater extent. Which Increases risk of side effects from sunscreen. It is necessary to avoid sun between 10 am to 2 pm when UV rays are very intense. Keep babies covered with cloths and hats.

In case of toddlers same rules apply. If getting into sun is unavoidable, you can apply higher SPF lotion in a very limited amount. You should consult your pediatrician first before applying ay sunscreen. Good Luck!!!
