Hi Neha, I would suggest using massage oil as per the weather conditions. In winters it’s better massage with warm oild such as sesame oil, almond oil or bringhraaj oil.Whereas in summers you should use cooler oils such as coconut oil, olive oil etc.

Hi Rajiv, this is daunting task as most of the children are not very much fond of vegetables. Some even straight away refuse to eat them. You have a very valid concern ad it may impact the immunity and wellbeing of a child. Try following steps.•Try to include vegetables in kids favorite dishes. Like prepare Paav bhaji with carrots, capsicum, beetroot, cabbage, French beans. Uttapa, Maggie, Pulav, sandwiches all can be prepared with lots of vegetables inside.•Try to indulge them in vegetable shopping, cleaning and cutting. This would generate interest in taste of vegetable in the kid.•Try to explain benefits of eating vegetables in fun way, tell stories.•Be a good example for your kids. You should practice what you preach. Eat vegetables before telling kids to do so.•Try to different texture if kid is disliking any vegetable. Like kids won’t eat methi sukhi sabzi then you should try with methi thepla, methi muthia etc.Good luck!!

It should include around 11 hours night sleep and 1 or 2 naps of 4 hours collectively. If she is not able to sleep well in the night check if anything particular is bothering her. A diaper rash or upset stomach, excessive day time napping etc. If this erratic sleep pattern persists then please refer to the pediatrician. Good luck!!

Hi Rajiv, chicken pox is caused by a virus named varicella-zoster and its contagious. Symptoms include mild fever, super itchy skin rashes and red blisters with fluid. Blisters rapture, pops out and leak out. It crusts and heal the wound on its own.If your son is vaccinated for chickenpox disease, then it won’t cause much of trouble and blisters and rash will fade away within the span of 6-7 days. It’s better to have chicken pox in early child hood as it gives you a lifelong immunity against it.Consult your pediatrician for further queries.

Hi Rajiv, no, it’s not always bad to wake a sleeping baby up. There are certain reasons and situations when you have to wake your baby up. Those would be feeding and medicine time, safety concern or dangerous situation. In your case your son is 4 years old, means he will be attending pre-school and other extra activities classes. Ideal sleep for your 4 year old would be around 12 hours. And he may or may not take a day time nap. If he is taking adequate hours of sleep in the night time, you can definitely wake him for suitable reason in the day time.Hope this helps. Good luck !!!

Hi Neha, vomiting indicates certain health issues as infection in stomach, overeating , indigestion or some other major issue. You have 18 month old baby, she must be eating solid food or solid food and milk. Some foods may cause gastronomic problems in kids. Check for allergies. When she eats, try not to give her too much food in single feeding; don’t give water immediately after eating. Keep her upright for some time after eating; try to burp her after eating. If vomiting is a frequent then you should consult your pediatrician for a desired treatment. Take a immediate medical help if she vomits more than 3-4 times in a day to prevent dehydration.
