Gynecologist 6 years ago If you are planning to conceive than its a great idea to start taking folic acid supplements. Stop Smoking, consuming alcohol etc. Eat green leafy vegetables, fruits, lean meats, eggs etc. Drink lot of water to keep yourselves hydrated. Secondarily track your menstrual cycle and check for ovulation period. Having intercourse on days closer to ovulation will increase your chances to conceive.
