pediatrician 6 years ago What is the average weight & height for a 4 year old baby?
My son birth weight was 2.5 & now he is 4 year old & recent weight is only around 11kgs. But he eats almost everything…I am giving him all healthy foods like banana, egg, milk, etc. but didn’t see any changes in weight.
Also his height is approx 3.1ft…is that normal?

Pediatrician 6 years ago Sometimes the child’s stature depends on genetic factors. If parents have a thin stature, the child also may look the same. Consult your pediatrician to find out the exact cause. In the meanwhile, make sure his diet is healthy, high calorie and balanced. Physical activity is a must for him to remain fit. Pureed food and tasty nutritious smoothies help a lot in putting on weight.
