1. DTaPThis vaccine protects child from diseases like tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis.
- 2 nd month
- 4 th month
- 6 th month
- Between 15 th and 18 month
- Between 4 th and 6 th year
- Booster shot in between 11 or 12 years (Tdap)
2. Hepatitis A
Protects against hepatitis A, which causes hepatitis.
- First dose to be given in between 12th and 23rd month.
- Second dose to be given 6th to 18th month later.
3. Hepatitis B
Protects against hepatitis B, this is responsible for disease hepatitis.
- At the time of birth
- In between 1st and 2nd month
- In between 6th and 18th month
4. Hib
Protects against microorganism Haemophilus influenza type B, who is responsible for diseases like epiglottis, meningitis and pneumonia.

5. HPV
This vaccine provides protection from human papillomavirus. It causes some sexually transmitted disease and also results in anal, throat, cervical cancers as well as genital warts.
• Girls and boys should take two doses at 11th or 12th year (however you can get vaccinated between 9th to 14.5 years)
• Girls and boys who could not complete the programme before age 15 or who started the programme after age 15
6. Influenza
Protects from the seasonal flu
- Each year during winters or fall one dosage to be given for children who are aged 6 months or older.
- Two no. of doses to be given by at least 28 days apart to kids of 6 months to 8 years old. This is applicable to those who are getting flu vaccine for the very first time, or kids who previously have taken only one dose of vaccine.
7. Meningococcal vaccine
Protects against meningococcal disease which is the leading reason for bacterial meningitis.

8. MMR
Protects against mumps, measles and Rubella
- In between 12th and 15th month

9. Pneumococcal vaccine
Protects against pneumococcal disease, as this leads to pneumonia, meningitis, and infections related to ears.
