Pediatrician 6 years ago Hi Ritika..Diaper rash is very common in new born kids. Here are some of the simple measures that you can follow to prevent them – Change the diapers often. Do not over-tighten them. During every diaper change you must rinse the bottom of your baby with warm water. Make sure the area is completely dry and clean before putting a fresh diaper.
