Hi Nisha...Swelling in the joints can happen because the weight gain can put strains on your joints. Talk to your gynecologist so that she can do a check up of you. For back pain you can try hot and cold compress method on the painful area for about 10 minutes, many times during the day. Also use proper posture while sitting, working sleeping etc. If you think it is severe pain, then its always better to see your doctor.

Hi Shilpa....Frequent urination is a very common symptom of first trimester. It happens because your uterus is getting stretched thereby putting a pressure on your urinary bladder. Do not avoid drinking water and other fluids because you have to go to washroom repeatedly.

Hi Nisha...It is natural to feel depressed, sad during this phase of pregnancy. Remember that these mood swings are only because of hormonal imbalance inside your body. So don't stress out and think positive. Thinking positive and avoiding the negative things and people around can really boost your mental health. Talk to your husband and change your daily routine. You can go on a mini vacation or take a relaxing spa treatment. Enjoy this phase as much as you can. All the best!!
