Questions

Hi
What is your question?
Dr Ashish Gupta
Pediatrician
Yes, you can. 8-9 hours of sleep is enough for toddlers. In fact, you must change his sleeping pattern as he will start going to school soon.

Hi Avani...Doing exercise is really good to help you in preparing for the delivery process. Go for brisk walks, swimming etc. which will not put a lot of strain on your body. Doing yoga also helps you to concentrate and focus. Take care not to do exercises which may make you trip and fall. Also avoid any exercise in which you will have to stand for a long time. You must consult your gynecologist before you begin exercising to know if you have any specific complications or if you have a risk of preterm labor.

What is the treatment of blocked nose??

Dr Ashish Gupta
Pediatrician
Hi Ritika..You can use nasal drops (as per her pediatrician suggestion) to loosen the mucus inside the nose. You can also make use of a vaporizer in baby's sleeping room. Encourage your baby to drink more fluids which will help in thinning the mucus.

Hi Rajanya...All these signs are normal during pregnancy because of hormonal imbalance going on inside your body. Mood swings, morning sickness tend to happen. I will suggest you to talk to your husband or mother or any close friend about your feelings. Opening up about your emotional status will help you. Go on a small weekend getaway to a resort near to your home or go and watch a fun, comedy movie. It will help you to change your mood. As far as vomiting is concerned, this symptoms will slowly reduce. Try not to eat spicy, oily foods. Drink a lot of water. Take enough rest and think positive!!

Hi...This happens because of acidity in stomach. You can have a glass of cold milk after your dinner. You can also make a juice of ginger plus lemon and have it, to keep acidity in control. Please avoid eating spicy foods. Focus on eating healthy foods like green vegetables, fruits etc.
