Gaining weight during pregnancy does not happen at once. It is a very gradual process. During the first trimester, weight gain is almost negligible. In second and third trimester, you will gain maximum amount of weight gradually i.e. 0.5 to 1 kg per week. Ideal weight at 7 month of pregnancy depends upon at what weight you started. Eat frequently, don't skip morning breakfast, eat healthy and nutrition packed meals. Because gaining enough weight is very important to support the process of pregnancy.

Pain in the abdomen during early pregnancy is normal. It happens because your uterus is growing and the ligaments get stretched. But again, if the pain is unbearable then you must visit your gynecologist.

Don't worry...Be patient because in some kids the teeth arrive a little later after 12 months.

Hi...Generally allergies don't cause fever. Ensure that his bedding, comforter are free of dust and bed mites. Try installing an air purifier in the house. You can also consult a specialist doctor if symptoms persist and the medicines don't seem to work on him.

Kids of this age sleep for 12-14 hours which can include two naps during late morning and afternoon and one good night sleep. If your child is restless or cranky all the time, that definitely means she is not getting enough sleep. Try putting her to bed by 6.00-6.30 in the evening. Make sure her sleeping area is comfortable enough with minimum noise and light disturbance.

Start taking folic acid supplements while you are in planning phase. This will help you a lot during pregnancy. High-protein foods such as lean meats, fish, eggs are good and you should continue eating them. Also eat a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables. Avoid alcohol, smoking and stop eating street foods, sugary foods etc. Don't forget to increase your water intake. You can also opt for fresh fruit juices, coconut water etc.

Taking maternity break completely depends on personal preference. You can work even till your due date if your pregnancy is non troubling. But I would recommend to take a break one or two weeks prior to due date. That way you will get enough time to relax, de-stress and focus on your delivery. However, if you have too much of travelling, or have a physically and mentally draining job then you may decide it for yourself and start the maternity leave from next month onwards.

It generally ranges from 9 to 13 kgs. At this age your child should be able to eat almost everything. Encourage him to drink solid foods. Give milk in cup instead of breastfeeding or feeding bottles. Introduce him to different variety of fruits, vegetables, dairy products, grains etc.
