:- Hi ShuEti, being stressful isn’t going to help. Before reaching to any conclusion please check some basic facts. When a couple tries for more than a year without using protection to get pregnant and fails to do so. That is problematic please check from how much time you are trying to get pregnant. If it is less than 1 year relax and let the due action take course. If it is more than a year then there are number of causes behind it. Stress, irregular cycle, obesity, thyroid, any other physical difficulty like blocked fallopian tubes. I will suggest you not to be stressed out, eat well, take care of body essentials, work out and meditate. Watch your cycle. Please refer to the following calculators from https://www.baby360.in/https://www.baby360.in/period-calculator/https://www.baby360.in/ovulation-calculator/https://www.baby360.in/bmi-calculator/https://www.baby360.in/online-pregnancy-test/Use these and hope for the best. After a year of trying you can surely consult a fertility expert for any further investigations. Good Luck.!!

Mom of a Son
Hi Samdhisha, happy to have this question as this is the most neglected part of raising a child. A child is individual with a brain, heart and distinctive personality. We should treat a child like an individual. A child wants love as well as respect. She wants to be heard. She wants to be appreciated.Following things are very important for a child:-•Self-esteem:- Always treat a child with respect.•Dignity :- Don’t blame or scold child publically•Appreciation :- Praise and reward for good behavior in public•Belongingness: - Make her wanted and needed by you. Please avoid:-•Being a bad example•Always practice what you preach•Comparison with siblings/friends•Negative emotions like taunts, sarcasm and anger.•Physical punishmentsAs a parent we also grow along with our child so it is basically necessary to be a kind, affectionate and loving person to raise a child.Good luck!!

Hi Akansha, applying sunscreen on infants from 0 to 6 months is not advisable. Infants should be kept away from sun as much as possible. Infants have higher surface -area to body –weight ratio, making exposure to the chemicals in sunscreen to much greater extent. Which Increases risk of side effects from sunscreen. It is necessary to avoid sun between 10 am to 2 pm when UV rays are very intense. Keep babies covered with cloths and hats.In case of toddlers same rules apply. If getting into sun is unavoidable, you can apply higher SPF lotion in a very limited amount. You should consult your pediatrician first before applying ay sunscreen. Good Luck!!!

Kya main Chinese kha sakti hu

Ritika Singh
Mom of a Daughter
Hi Sonali, congratulation and welcome to motherhood. If you are referring to a street side Chinese food then its complete No. Street side Chinese food is not healthy as it is prepared in extremely unhygienic conditions. The ingredients used are also of a substandard quality. Ajinomoto is used in such type of food which causes serious harm to baby’s development. The vegetable are not fully cooked this may cause infections. If you are craving for it, it is advisable to have a moderate amount of Chinese food from a good restaurant. Better to have home cooked food in any case. Good luck!!

Hi Sarika, sometimes no matter how hard we try kids don’t behave in a manner we want them to. This may be outcome of so many different aspects. Kids adhere to rebellious behavior to gain attention. Be affectionate with her. Listen to her carefully. You trying to discipline her, which is necessary; but it’s not helping rather making the situation adverse. Take a break !!! For a while stop telling or advising her anything. Let her see the outcome of her indiscipline behavior. Once she faces it, calmly explain about the other way of approaching the situation. Cause and consequence theory will work for sure and the change in her behavior if any, will be willing and perpetual. If the things don’t improve over period of time, please consult a counselor.P.S.:- Don’t make any comparisons with her siblings or friends. Appreciate any slight improvement in her behavior generously by kind words and physical affection. Good Luck!!!
